See I don't understand why in some circumstances (I understand its not always possible) that cops don't shoot to wound instead of kill. Shoot them in the legs, that'll stop them but also give them a higher chance of, you know, life.

I agree that if you go after a cop you deserve a bullet... but i don't agree with you guys on this one... the dude stopped and was standing there. he didn't look aggressive... idk why the cop shot him, thinking maybe it was an accident which explains his panic after the bullet was fired? idk. def don't think this one was justified though.

I think he was a particularly dumb cop that jumped the gun here...or jumped the pen rather...if you ask me. Do we really need another dumb cop in addition to all the bad cops (though this cop was a bad cop too by the fact that he was a dumb cop)?

The first thing the cop would've done after cuffing the pen-weilding maniac, would be to locate the "weapon." Once he realized that there was nothing more to discover than office supplies, he probably shit himself. He wasn't trying to save that guy, he was was already trying to beat a murder wrap and save himself.
