Ruben Salazar got hit by one of those in E-L-A by the L A Co. Sheriffs at the Silver Dollar during the riot that ended at Laguna Park that was named after him..... I don't know what the riot was about but a girl got hit in the head by an LAPD officer on the news... crossed the line Co.& City.... Crazy shit... I was a kid when that happend.

what i dont get is why they left him lying on a very hot grenade (from what i can make out what they kick our from under him and in roughly the same place as the burn mark on his ribcage) and didn't bother to try and help him out by clearing his airway or putting him in the recovery position. instead wandering around crying about it but doing fuck all the help the poor bastard. i cant tell if he died from having his head cracked - knocked into unconsciousness by the round and being left to choke on the blood from either smashed teeth or a broken nose - or if he simply died from shock due to their idiotic inactivity. maybe he died instantly but why they didn't try to save him sickens me more then what may have been an inexperienced rifle man firing a round improperly
