Its not Zhenya Rodionov Zhenya was executed in 23rd of May 1996. I know a lot about him and his mother Lubov. He grew up and went to school near me. He was in the captivity by chechen terrorists for a while actually. At one point he was about to be traded but some serious shit went down and the plan changed. The day before his birthday he was offered to take Islam and live, but Zhenya was very proud Christian so he said NO to the terrorists. He said he would rather die than to betray his religion and country. For that he was executed the next day on his birthday. The person in the video is an unknown Russian soldier who probably wont be identified for a long time. |

I remember as a young lad scouring the internet trying to find the full version. I'm starting to think now however that the "full version" is just a myth. kinda like the grifter and normalpornfornormalpeople.

It's not a myth, it was uploaded for a time by a Russian LiveLeak user - I think he had ties to the Army, but I forget. Anyways, most if not all of his videos were taken down by LiveLeak because of a DMCA complaint from a TV station. The user argued on the LiveLeak forums about the DMCA complaint for awhile and as far as I know the complaint was settled, but the guy left (presumably in frustration) and never returned. And no, I never did see the longer version - this is just what I've gathered after extensive searching. I probably could find the original LiveLeak poster's info, but it's pretty much useless seeing as how many people have attempted to contact him through the contact without any success. So yeah, there is a longer version out there. From what I understand it shows the Chechens torturing and humiliating the soldier. I don't know if it's before or after they behead him. |
