Russian Region Official Gunned Down; Killer Failed to Commit Suicide
Zavyalovsky District, Altai Krai, Russia. Sorry for the large watermark on the first video, but it was the only uncensored version of the vid I could find. A local official in the Siberian region of Altai was shot and killed in broad daylight, law enforcement authorities said Tuesday. 51-year-old Nikolai Onishchenko (first picture) had been the leader of the Zavyalovsly District since October 2022. The killer was Onishchenko's former employee, 45-year-old Anatoly Fenin (second picture), who was dismissed by Onishchenko as the head of a health and wellness facility. After killing his former boss, Fenin attempted to shoot himself in the head, but he survived with a severe wound to the face. He was taken to hospital in critical condition. |

I bet he put the shotgun under his chin. We've all seen how that works out sometimes. |

Re: Russian Region Official Gunned Down; Killer Failed to Commit Suicide
Did he use a different gun to shoot himself in the head? Surely if he used the same shotgun it would have done the same thing to his own head as he did to the victims head? (Sorry for any lack of gun knowledge - am Australian and never served in the army. Guns are fairly rare to civilians on this island)
