Russian Lawyer Stabbed in the Heart in Turkey
Two men suspected of attacking and stabbing a Russian national in Istanbul have been detained, the search for one more attacker is underway. "After interviewing witnesses and studying records from surveillance cameras, two suspects were detained. It was done quite promptly. Russia’s consulate general in Istanbul told earlier that a Russian national had been stabbed to death in the center of the city on Saturday. One of them stabbed him in the heart. The attack took place near the Taksim tourist square in Beyoglu neighborhood. Witnesses told the two were planning to rob him from his cell-phone. V. N, a 40-year-old lawyer, turned out to be the Russian who died on the square. He came to Istanbul on business and at the same time decided to attend the Champions League final match between Manchester City and Inter with friends. After the game, the traveler went to rest with the company. The attack took place on June 11 at 8:30 am, when the Russian was heading to the hotel to pack up and fly to Moscow. Looks to me he was, drunk?, and annoying shouting and waving arm which set them off. |

The description says they robbed him but the video looks like he was the aggressor and was warned to fuckoff before he got stabbed.

From what i can make out, he had plenty chances to walk/run away, but played silly buggers with a guy with a knife, got killed..I doubt very much his decision in the Courtroom were any better
