I dont think he was struggling, I think he actually did it correctly. It looks like he was forcing himself backwards with the knot just right to cutoff bloodflow. He seemed to re tie the knot a few times and reposition it / tighten it. His arms looked like the went limp as he was falling. When you pass out like that and you hang youre not going to wake back up.

wonder why the pauses in the video. also by the look of the noose, it appears the right carotid artery wasn't compressed very much, if at all.....which is why the (alleged death) maybe took so long...?
