It really does look like the same guy, and he was punched in his right eye. But, where are the supposed stab wounds on his throat? It looked like he would need bandages on the neck at the very least.

He was stabbed in the eye and and hand. He says that those scumbags were drunk and started harassing a girl and he stepped in for her. I don't think that girl thanked him for getting stabbed for her. You guys are too quick with your conclusions, but you have all sorts of bastards in your respective countries as well. Not all Russians are alcoholics, there are more decent people.

Moscow police are investigating a fight with a stabbing near the metro station Solntsevo. Two men beat and mutilated a 35-year-old Muscovite on July 13, but it became known only after a scuffle appeared on the Internet. The victim survived and told how the conflict broke out.
