7.62x39MM is the caliber of the AK/AKM series of rifles.

Actually yeah you guys are right, normally I would have caught that but I was up like 30+ hours when I posted so my eyes were a little blurry. Anyway, yeah after going over it again there's 3 things that give it away:

1) With his hand there you'd see at least part of the gas tube if it were one of the 47/74 rifles. Not so visible on the shottys.

2) The mag is straight, rather than having a slight curve in it like the rifles. (and the mag practically blends in with that damn picture frame behind him...lol)

3) And as DCM90 mentioned, I totally overlooked the barrel.

You’d think that the head removal would have been the biggest give away that it was a shotgun.

There are several variants of AK shotguns like the IO XP or the JTS M12AK, and many others, including newer Lynx models but the one in the video is a Lynx-12, very likely the LH-12.

To be fair, they are actually the same thing regardless of the hardware attached to them. All are just modified Kalashnikovs.

What the gun he used is. However I didn't get the caliber right as that's not a rifle, it's a shotgun based off of a popular platform (the AK) so it cannot fire 7.62x39 ammo, only shotgun ammo.

I can't understand why some kill themselves and do it for all to see, I would want to go quietly, surely suicide is a private thing. All he will be remembered for now by most people is being the guy that ruined his mom's sofa.
