For anyone feeling severely depressed , I highly recommend adopting an animal (if you are still functional). I lost a friend some years ago and it broke me, but I got his kitten and that kitten is now a cat called Buster and every day I wake up to see Busters face and my life feels so fucking awesome. And I am so glad now that I never followed through on those self-destructive thoughts. And I also have a damned good reason to live a sober and responsible life. |
