Re: Russian Blonde Parking
Why do you assume someone needs to be arrested? Perhaps the better course of action is to improve the safety of the environment. If someone gets hit then we deal with the consequences of that in the best way we know how. We can do that without "blaming" people. We can learn from it and make changes to improve a system without condemning people to suffer. The point is to reduce harm and suffering caused, it will be almost impossible to completely eliminate it. |

Re: Russian Blonde Parking
Anybody who does something like this should never be allowed to drive again, period!! This whole mistaking the throttle pedal for the brake pedal is a load of bullshit IMO but if you seriously cant remember where either of them are when you go to press whichever one is necessary, then you are a danger to everyone around you and should not be driving.

Re: Russian Blonde Parking
Ours is a litigious, retribution oriented society. When something goes wrong and somebody is hurt or killed, then somebody must be blamed and made to pay, either through criminal prosecution or civil action. In the case of the driverless car, start with the manufacturer and go from there to the software developer, the maintenance, etc. Always blame somebody and collect your pound of flesh.
