So this was about to be another one of my "really minka...really?" posts, but after thinking about it I actually agree with you lol. Idk about the other 2 cases but the Daniel Shaver case definetly fits the bill of the cops who dgaf. The dude was drunk as hell, he was literally begging and crying not to be shot, the commands they gave were confusing (even to me, and I wasnt even drunk), and of the 6 officers that had guns drawn, the only one to fire was the one with "you're fucked" inscribed on the gun...so for a while I was like "okay, fuck that cop, but the other ones seemed alright", but then they temporarily re-hire the asshole just so he can get his pension after a unanimous vote...so now I'm like fuck that whole department! Even the district attorney would only show the widow the bodycam footage if she agreed to sign (which she didnt) an NDA to not publicly talk about what she saw.. ...that family was thoughroly fucked by the people that were supposed to protect them.  |

I put the blame squarely on the idiots who thought it was cool to wrestle with the cops. It's just dumb as fuck to do that. Ya the cop shouldn't have had his gun out but he may have been in fear for his life. He was a bit soft looking |
