The swings are generally connected between two buildings with some slack to make you able to go out into the middle and swing between the buildings safely. Not sure what went wrong here.

Old school skydiver here. That’s a bungee swing where she should have swung back and forth. The line could have been shortened a bit before she jumped. She swung low and into the dumpster or whatever it was. The person that was standing there would have also been killed had she been over to the left about another foot or so. Un-professional people.

Simone's video showed the guy whose job it was to retract the slack get yanked across the parking lot. He either tied it off incorrectly or his tie-off anchor failed.  That's the hazard of high-risk adventures in Russia.  |
