I've seen a few cardiac arrest videos where they put their hand on their head. It's the lack of oxygen to the brain, causing them to feel "dizzy, and then further neurological dysfunction. The heart is still beating, but very slowly. Each beat gradually becomes more spaced out until it eventually comes to a complete stop.
