35-year-old Diana Galustyan rented one of the shopping pavilions and placed equipment for making fast food there. Gas cylinders for connecting to the shawarma machine were next to the grill. On the evening of January 22, a fire broke out in the pavilion. Then the gas exploded.

A 21-year-old cook died on the spot from his burns. A 30-year-old handyman with burns of varying severity was taken to the hospital, where he died 8 days later.

By a court verdict, the owner of a kiosk with shawarma was sentenced to a restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year."
