Feb 5 at 10:49 am A level 1 Incident The death of an employee occurred in Krasnoyarsk at the Vankorskoye field in the Turukhansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 140 km northwest of Igarka. At 01:08 04.01.2023 at the No. 6 well (No.1508 KP-205), a drill pipe fell on the receiving bridge during installation. As a result, the assistant driller N.A.B was injured and fell unconscious. At 01.10 an ambulance team of the Sibmedcenter LLC health center was called to the scene. A paramedic M.M.N., an employee of the health center of Sibmedcenter LLC, arrived and pronounced the victim dead at 01:55. At the scene of the accident the operational group reports to S.A.V., the head of the TCRS shop. The situation is being clarified. |

Why people don’t run to the side instead of trying to race past the end of the falling pipe, tree or whatever it is baffles me.  |
