Re: Russia - Man Falls to His Death from a Fire Engine Ladder
If he wanted to live he would have stayed on the ladder. He purposely decides to use the cord to slide down? No gloves. No thinking at all. WTF? And why wouldn’t the truck park closer to the building? They could have brought out one of those life saving “cushion” things to break the fall. And at this point in time. Equip the tips of ladders with easy to reach and use fasteners for people needing to be saved like this. Fasten it around themselves and then do their attempt to get down on their own. Or you know, have a firefighter up there ready to instruct the person how to tether. So if they slip they’ll stay alive. |

Re: Russia - Man Falls to His Death from a Fire Engine Ladder
Yeah, he seemed pretty committed to going down the ladder, and then he just goes over the side, he seemed a little erratic too, so who knows, drugs/mental break probably.
