I’ve seen some heated altercations between a man and a woman, never witnessed anything that turned physical, fortunately. But I vividly remember looking, direly hoping it didn’t reach the point where I’d have to intervene because I’ve seen several instances of someone else trying to diffuse too early or when the words were still heating things up - only to have the female in the altercation jumping in their shit too.

I think there’s more people in the world that are on the edge than we think and if they’re pushed just the right way or angered at just the right moment - they’re going to go right off the deep end with the pedal to the floor with rage. Some have a diversion to the impending catastrophe in the form of a life event like having a child, marriage, or something happens that allows them to have the necessary restraint………then there are others like our friend a few pages back who feed on their emotions and go “full send” on the unlucky soul that trips their fuse, triggering something like this.

The same thing happened to me, I was at the entrance of a hotel in Morocco and some guy was beating a woman, I pushed him away and the woman said ' it's ok, he's my husband..'
