Many years ago when I was living in London and on my way home I passed a pub where a bloke was punching a woman outside. I pulled him off and he started at me. I used to box and can look after myself but…. The woman got up and ran inside. To get reinforcements! Indeed! Half the pub emerged and started on me. Turns out they were husband and wife and that’s what they did at the pub, he’d take her out and whallop her and then call it a night. Bottom line is you don’t know what you don’t know. ( and people are fucked in the head).
