A terrible accident happened today at about 2 pm on the 77th kilometer of the Krasnodar-Slavyansk-on-Kuban-Temryuk highway. As a result of the collision, both cars were scattered along the highway. The heavy cargo was overturned on its side, and the car was carried to the side of the road.

The driver of a car made an exit into the oncoming lane and collided with a heavy-duty vehicle moving in the opposite direction. The collision caused the truck to overturn. The driver and passenger of the car were killed at the scene.

Only a baby survived the accident - he was in a car seat and this saved his life. As it turned out, the deceased are the parents of the surviving baby.

Now the child is in the Central Regional Hospital of the Slavyansky District, he is being examined by doctors. The police are looking for the relatives of the orphaned baby."

~ This is an all too familiar scenario: A young couple just had a baby. The baby starts crying, the doeting mother in her urgency distracts the father driver, Where is the baby bottle?, We have to be there in 5 minutes!, the distracted father, simultaneously foregoing safety measures, begins speeding thru, 'I just saw it!'
~ The car was making a left turn when it got hit by the truck, so the left side of the car with both parents on that left side got struck. The Mother was in the back seat behind the father driver. Both had their seat belts on.
~ The baby got saved because it was in the front right passenger seat.
