That's the thing though, we have the beauty of hindsight and know shes about to get stabbed, but his actions aren't really all that aggressive and could pass as some dude, somewhat impatiently, waiting for the employee to fix her mask so she can serve him. That's what makes this one so strange, he knew and she didn't have a clue. And the fact that he only stabbed her once and immediately left like that shows he wasn't all there, mentally. |

Minka....  Who are you even arguing with? My post clearly points to premeditation, while allowing for the possibility of mitigating circumstances, that doesn't mean I don't think he's guilty and he should be set free. You do know it's possible to murder someone and be clinically psychotic.... right? When you said "He should be doing life." that suggests to me that you think people who go for the insanity defense get off easier, it's a common misconception, but it isn't the case here in the US, and probably even less so in Russia. --- An interesting and relevant doc you should check out if you haven't seen it. The TL;DW, the insanity defense is rarely successful in US court cases, and when it is, it often leads to longer sentences than if they had just pled guilty and gone to jail. Also, if you're implying I'm white...I'm not, I've told you this before, but I wouldn't reasonably expect you to remember that. |
