I don't get what you are trying to say. Rapists and murderers being let go without any real punishment is not an exclusive thing for Russia. I would say Russia is harsher on that side, than most of Europe when it comes to being a pedophile, rapist, murderer, etc.

You're right, Western european legal system is a joke. If you rape someone, you might get 5 years or less, if you kill someone, mayyybe 10 to 15 years, hell a guy that killed a politician is already a free man again after serving 2/3 of his sentence and he was locked up for a little over ten years. Only a handful of people here have life in prison.

I'm in the Netherlands but it's pretty much the same shit in other western/northern european countries. Eastern europe is more tough on it's inmates. I do have to say that in my country crime stats are low with less than 150 homicides a year. And many inmates get TBS (forced psychiatric treatment) after release so chances of re-offending are small.

It's compleltey exclusive to Russia, if you kill someone or rape a child you can serve only One week as long as you serve in the army for 6 months and kill Ukrainians.
