Being able to swim would seem to be a prerequisite to using a jet ski. And why do these fuckers not even TRY to swim. Surely they’ve seen video of people doing it. Move your arm and kick your feet. It ain’t that hard |

The one person seemed to be able to tread water but the other two not so. When a person is drowning they will try to grab anything that’s floating. They grab at the friend who’s treading water and drag him down. I was a lifeguard in my life and drowning people are dangerous to swimmers if not trained properly. They’ll drown you trying to save themselves.

Many drowning videos where people comment “stupid fuckers around could have helped”. These commenters have no clue how dangerous a drowning person is. They will drag you down, and you’ll probably die with them. One time in Aruba with this tall woman from Nigeria or somewhere like that. The catamaran had stopped in the deep ocean and we were diving off it. Little did I know that she did not know how to swim, yet decided to jump right as I did, and she landed right next to me. She IMMEDIATELY started grasping at me and pulling me down. I honestly don’t remember how I got out of it, but for a second there, I was convinced she’d kill us both. You don’t even have enough control in that situation to punch them in the face and get out. Who the fuck jumps into the ocean if they’ve never swam before? |
