Peru, José L. R. R, a musician and member of a Municipal Band, was found dead in a high, hard-to-reach area. The discovery came days after he was reported missing, causing shock among his family and neighbors.

The saxophonist was last seen on May 21. His family reported him missing on May 24, after which they began receiving extortion threats.

His body was found between two narrow walls, behind an abandoned house adjacent to the home of an acquaintance.

The body showed signs of dismemberment and was in a condition that made recovery difficult, necessitating the intervention of the Rescue Unit.

During the investigation, officers from the Police Department found traces of blood and a slipper on a nearby roof, which allowed them to pinpoint the exact location of the body.

As part of the investigation, Jean F. S. C. was detained by authorities. He was one of the last people to see the victim alive, and his home is located next to the abandoned house where the body was found.
