Did a slow mo. it looked like guy pulled him away saving him, which would have been the case save for the natural human reaction of someone quickly attempting to grab you, being to move away.

Coal is anything but light. Maybe not as heavy as granite or slate but heavy enough to kill you esp when a chunk that size scales off the rib. I'm in mines all the time and I'll never go into a coal seam. The drifts before the seam yes, that are dug through the bedrock. But I won't go in to where the coal was being extracted, hell no. |
