Investigative authorities have begun to check on the fatal incident at a coal enterprise in the Novokuznetsk region. Last Sunday, a 34-year-old worker was killed there because of a rock collapse in a mine. - It was preliminarily established that the worker, being with a partner in a mine working, performed an order for the installation of equipment. The moment a 34-year-old man bent over to the main drive chain, a coal seam collapsed on him. He received injuries incompatible with life, his partner was not injured, - said the investigation department of the Russian IC in the Kemerovo region. The surviving worker reported the incident to the dispatcher, who called rescuers who helped to lift the body to the surface. As part of the pre-investigation check, job descriptions will be studied, and it will also be checked whether the deceased was instructed on safety measures and whether safety was observed when conducting this type of work. |
