I think she is very lucky to be alive actually. The police officer fired two shots with a substantial gap in time between them. The first shot was definitely not fatal. She is very fortunate that the bad guy didn't squeeze in that short interval between those two shots.

The bloke carrying the 20 cal. shotgun must have been a hulk of a man! I just can't imagine the recoil of a 20 caliber shotgun, I'm a 6' 8" fellow and I know I can't manage the recoil of such a huge weapon, a 20 gauge no problem but never a 20 cal.  |
