Re: Robber with a Shovel Stuck in His Skull
watch the vid again, It's not in his brain ( I think ) It looks as if the shovel has simply buried itself under the skin, maybe through the skull a tad and is up against the top of the skull and missing the majority of his brain. Still, quite happy that karma got this thief good :) |

Re: Robber with a Shovel Stuck in His Skull
Wow.. He probably would have circled the drain much faster if he would have removed that shovel from his head. He will have issues when the intracranial pressure starts in about an hour after impact. The brain basically swells up and has nowhere to expand to resulting in permanent brain damage or death. Blood is also very damaging to brain tissue and will cause severe adverse affects if the bleeding is not controlled by a neurovascular surgeon. Depending on what hemispheres are affected, neurological and some fine motor function may be possibly impaired. By the looks of the video, he probably wont get that assistance and will eventually die. Its just amazing to see that he was able to talk. His motor skills also appeared to be very grossly intact with a slight alteration due to trauma. Loss of sight and other sensory functions would be another factor to consider if this person didn't die from the trauma. |
