Exactly this. And there are lots of tactics that they use to try and falsify the perception of it. Same way how, in Rittenhouse, they wanted to show every single thing in slow motion, still frames, etc. As if time actually passes in slow motion, and you process every "frame" of the activity that way. They'll make you FEEL like that 6 seconds of shots was a 30 minute torture-fest instead of a single instant of action.

I also agree though, the final shot... while understandable from the perspective of it being a reasonable, human response to a violent, traumatic, life-threatening event (and human desire to eliminate the threat to you)... it could very possibly be the noose they try to hang him with.

The only silver lining is, if he takes it to trial, he'll walk. Jurors are humans too. And guarantee you at least one person will have the sense to say, "Ya know what, it may not have been legal by the book, but it should be legal by my fucking book," and will refuse to convict based on that.

Asgardian: As far as Rittenhouse goes, shit dude, what those slimy fucks tried to do to that kid was unbelievable. The way our media just openly lied from beginning to end was incredible Man. Even with video that showed what happened they went with their own narrative like "the truth, reality, our very credibility, fuck that!"

They instantly reported him as a white supremacist mass shooter who went there to kill as many "people of color" as he could. A month after he was found not guilty I found myself talking to one of the victim's of this mass media campaign. A young black Woman, very sweet girl, who I had just met at my Cousins house.

The TV was on but the volume was off. When a picture of Rittenhouse popped up she said "I can't believe they let him off. He guns down 3 black protesters because of the color of their skin, and they go and release him." I had to explain to her that the people he shot were all white, they were literally chasing him down while firing their weapons and throwing Molotov cocktails at the kid trying to burn him alive.

Why? All because he saw these people lighting a dumpster on fire and trying to slam it into the gas pumps at a gas station to blow it up. Seeing this he ran over with a fire extinguisher and put out the flames before they smashed it into the pumps. She says "no that's not what happened I saw it on the news".

I was like, "it's recorded on video, you never seen it"? She goes "No I never seen a video other than the one of him walking around with this huge gun like a tough guy." I showed her the video, walked her through it step by step. These are the rioters who he shot. Every one of them were white, one had a history of sexually assaulting children, and on and on."

She kept saying "oh my God" "oh wow" as I went through everything with her. She was shocked, angry, and amazed that she could believe something so far from the truth. She stops and she's like "oh no, I called a kid I know from school a racist and blocked him on Facebook for defending him".

She said she didn't remember where she heard the make believe version at but said she only watched CNN, MSNBC, the Steven Colbert show, and The Daily Show for "her news". And yes she really did include those last two as her "sources of news". I suppose they're no less ridiculous as the first two, but yeah. I just had to share that story.

A bit late to this one. Just saw this clown's mother being interviewed on the news. I feel for her. One isn't supposed to bury a child. I feel for her because the kid was a looser.

Sometimes, even the best parents have a kid that is just plain bad. And this one signed him own death warrant when he decided to wave a gun, a plastic toy in people's faces.
