Now that i look even closer, I see in the far corner theres a dude sitting at the booth eating. Hes in the direct line of fire of the moron shooting at the robber. The shooter deserves a punch in the mouth at least for risking everyone's life to be a hero. The stupid drunk/drugged/crazy punk was leaving with his plastic gun. Why stand up and risk yourself and everyone else by emptying an entire magazine into him?

I've got no problem with shooting anyone who presents a lethal threat to me or others, but use your brain, folks. This idiot presented a threat only to himself. I would have had my weapon out and ready under the table, and if he'd turned around to face the room again I would have dropped him, but if he's running away that's the best solution of all.
