Re: Rob Banks In Finland, Get Sent To Helsinki
You gotta love old mechanical watches, they were mechanical marvels indeed, my father had several watches,Enicar, Bulova, Royce and other pieces of 1960s brands. The ultra expensive watches sure are fantastic for their complicated inner workings but we could easily end up in these pages if we ever decided to wear them outside to flash our ridiculous income to the world. And about the Boberg, yes, pushing the cartridges by the nose instead of/or in combination with pulling them to eliminate the stress on the case's crimping, also the two claws could have a third longer claw that engages the bullet's nose so it pulls the cartridge as a whole. I don't know how the designer didn't think about what does a "bullet puller" is used for when he decided that the feeding system could successfully employ a pulling mechanism when it is a known fact that regular cartridges are susceptible to be separated by pulling the bullet from the casing. |
