Road Tragedy in Puerto Libertador Leaves One Dead and One Woman Injured.
A serious traffic accident in the municipality of Puerto Libertador in recent hours has left a family in Córdoba grieving and has once again raised concerns about road safety in the region. The deceased has been identified as Algemiro Olguín, who was riding a motorcycle with his sister, Mariana Olguín, on the main road near the La Granja neighborhood. According to preliminary information, the occupants of the motorcycle made contact with another motorcycle, causing them to lose control and subsequently crash into a bus traveling in the area. As a result of the collision, Algemiro Olguín died instantly at the scene, suffering a head injury. His sister was injured and was rushed to the Divino Niño Local Hospital, where she remains under medical observation. |

Helmets might have made a difference here. If nothing else there would have less brains on the road and more contained in the heads that are missing some.  |
