Road Rage Leads to Fatal Kick in the Neck
Vietnam, Today Police stated that the Office of the Criminal Investigation Agency had arrested Mai A. N. (43 years) for investigation into the crime of disturbing public order. According to initial information, at noon on Friday, Mai was driving a pick-up truck carrying his daughter to school and when he reached an intersection with traffic lights he slowed down to wait for the traffic light. At that moment, a car driven by Mr. N.V.H. (64 years), traveling in the same direction overtook him from the left and collided with the driver's side door of Mai's pick-up truck. Mai got out of the car to check the situation and saw Mr. N.V.H. also getting out of the car. Mai then used his hand to hit him on the temple, causing the victim to fall to the ground. After that, Mai kicked him once in the left side of the neck. The victim then lost consciousness. Seeing the victim unconscious, Mai and others used Mai's car to take Mr. N.V.H. to the hospital for emergency treatment. He was admitted to the hospital in critical condition with a severe brain hemorrhage and was transferred to a higher-level facility for emergency treatment. After Mai was arrested for disturbing public order, Mr. N.V.H. passed away at the Hospital Saturday evening. The investigating agency is continuing to strengthen the case file, clarify further signs of related crimes, and handle the case according to regulations. |
