No doubt, but another reason is what happens when you get fussy. All this stuff is just animals playing with their food, but everyone knows not to get in between a hungry animal--I got bit right through my finger by a Ferret when I tried to get a Gummy Bear away from it, so I know. No way Jose, these dudes will be gentle, getting you back down to the ground, maybe even give you a second to collect yourself enough to get scared again, just so your punishment will have more Pop! I've sited it before, but there's the awesome example from Brazil--a kid having his head cut off too slowly and painfully with a steak knife or something, who grabs his throat cutter by the wrist, all angry, like "Just give me a sec". Huge mistake. Next thing you know, he's got his guts all pulled out being played with by curious children, still alive, with an axe lodged in his head. That was all over the briefest of resistance--a facial expression really, and not even close to the type that we're thinking about. |
