Retired MP Officer Sitting in Front of Snackbar Shot by Thieving Thugs
Security footage shows the moment when 55-year-old reserve military police officer J. M. B. de S. was shot on Friday. The retired corporal died during the assault. He sits in front of a snack bar when two elements arrive on a motorcycle and one of them pulls a gun.  The retired PM tries to run but the assailant follows him. J.M.B tries reaching for his his gun, but the attacker shoots him. The reserve MP plus his gun fall to the ground before the thug runs away taking the victim's gun. The policeman was still rescued, but he died. |

Did they know him? They only take his one gun...no money or cell phone, just a gun. Doesn’t seem like a random robbery. More like a hit. |

Yes. Agreed. But how you going to know that random old guy was a cop or that he even had a gun on him to steal? So either they were just lucky to score a gun instead of a wallet. I mean a robber would most likely grab the wallet off the victim they just injured and the gun. Or they knew him, followed him, knew where he’d be, and knew he carried... So I say hit. Maybe the old guy arrested or killed someone and this was revenge. Also, just noticed a cop car doing a uturn to chase the pos down. |
