A retired teacher was brutally murdered by criminals to whom he had rented his property. The kidnappers buried him alive and, despite killing him, demanded a large ransom from his desperate family.

The Shark Group of the SSPC arrested the dangerous criminal cell in Río Seco and Montaña. The suspects were transporting weapons and drugs when they were intercepted by state security forces.

Investigations reveal that Professor Pimienta was kidnapped to extort two million pesos (over $115,000). His family paid part of the money, but the criminals never released the captive victim.

A video in the possession of the attorney general shows the horror: the detainees threw the teacher alive into a pit. After stabbing him multiple times, they covered him with dirt, causing a slow and agonising death.
