Residents of Sacapulas, Quiché, lynch two alleged hitmen who murdered a local vendor​

V M L C, 25, and J A G C, 23, both from Guatemala City, were lynched (and burned alive) on September 16 in a community in the municipality of Sacapulas, Quiché.

The National Civil Police (PNC) confirmed that both subjects made an attempt on the life of a woman, a clothing seller in a shopping plaza in that town, identified as María L C, 47, who was still alive and was taken to the national hospital of Santa Cruz del Quiché, where she later died.

The two individuals were burned alive in a sector of Sacapulas. The population accused them of having assassinated L C in the morning.
J C and V C were arrested by the PNC in the village of San Jorge when they tried to flee on a motorcycle.

However, the villagers, enraged, snatched them from the PNC elements, who could do nothing to rescue them.

The estimate of residents gathered exceeds 500,<>, according to authorities. While beaten, according to the PNC, they were forced to reveal who had planned the attack, and both people revealed a name that has not been made public.

In addition, they blocked the entrances to the place where they were beaten and then set on fire. At the moment the situation remains tense, and the authorities seek to regain control of the situation in the area.

The two bodies are in a field of the place, and waiting for the Public Ministry (MP) to process the scene to enter. They have mediated with the villagers, but have not yet acceded to the requests.

If they were the right guys, then I'm glad they got it. I hope the group then sent a delegation to the home of whoever sent those men to kill the vendor, and killed them and everyone in their house, as a warning to other extortionists.
I have often wondered why the residents of these places don't just settle the score themselves. The cops are all corrupt and worthless in Central and South America.
The drug gangs move into your town, you can easily take them out, torture them, take all their drugs and money, and then kill everyone connected to the gang. A propane torch to the balls will get you EVERYONE's name that is involved in these gangs, all the way up the ladder. Roll them all up like dominoes, and be done with it.

The cops are corrupt. They probably picked these guys up to help get them out of town. Too bad the local residents put a stop to that shit. They should warn the cops that if the residents find out that they are involved with these people, they better NEVER be seen in the town again, on pain of death.
