Residents Force Man to Dig Up His Ex Wife He Murdered and Carry Her
Mexico, After P.D.D, 38, went missing since May 16th residents of the community went to where P. 'N', her ex husband lives, wanting to question him. The man was tied by his arms for several minutes and after falling into several contradictions, he ended up confessing that he had murdered her. He confessed that it was after an argument of jealousy with her that the woman tried to flee and after a pursuit in the struggle he killed her and not knowing what to do he buried her  Enraged, the villagers forced the killer to walk with his hands tied and barefoot to the place where he had left the body, then forced him to dig the corpse up with his bare hands amid insults.  The man had to carry the body of his ex-wife from the grave where he left it to a truck where it was taken to his home to be picked up by experts.  The villagers tried to lynch the man but decided to hand him over to the State Prosecutor's Office. |

To put this into context: San Juan Chamula is a small town inhabited by the Tzotzil (An original Mayan ethnic group among others like the Choles, Mames, Tojolabal and Tzeltal.) The Mexican government allows them to have their own customs and traditions as well as their own laws. The people in the videos are speaking Tzotzil, so sorry, no translation this time.  From her missing person poster: She was 4' 11", weighed 99 lbs. and she had only the two frontal teeth. (incisor teeth). These people barely speak Spanish if at all, they are not too keen on assimilating the Western culture so they remain ostracized by their own will to small impoverished communities. They don't mix with the mestizos or whites in México and keep their ethnic appearance in a pristine original state that some may find "unappealing" or ugly.  |
