Leaving a car park there was a car in front of me right at the exit. It suddenly stopped and the male driver wouldn't move the car! I was getting pissed off and beeped at him. Then I saw him slump over. Got out of my car and he was turning blue so I called 999. Turns out he had taken a heroin overdose and the paramedics knew him as a regular!! I watched them resuscitate him. Quite interesting to watch….plus I couldn't leave because his sodding car was blocking my way out!! I wonder if I hadn't been there would the paramedics have been called in time….Silly bugger, why take an overdose right before driving out of a car park!

had a dude come in with chest pain. he coded right in front of us. our CPR and resuscitation efforts were so quick and successful at perfusing his brain he was able to hug his wife on the way to cath lab. poor guy was intubated tho so im sure that was torture

They didn't jolt her. If there is no electrical heart activity, no jolt is needed. Won't help. I can still remember the sickening crack as I performed CPR on a work colleague. I broke his sternum even though he out-weighed me by 100 lbs. I tried so damn hard :( |

NARCAN is crazy as shit. I've seen people blue and dead pop up in 5 minutes fresh as a daisy, then want to refuse to go to the hospital. Like, no asshole you werer 2 minutes from deah.
