what did he expect to happen..
He had no kevlar or body armor on..
He knew they were shooting in that sector..
His worse possible scenario occured..
Sucks to be him, looks like a gut shot or possibly in the groin or maybe shot in the hip.

Either way, if he lives and not have his femoral artery struck by a bullet, he'll be pissing and shitting out of a bag....
