Also want to add that 18 seconds in the POV shooter video you can hear the killer mutter "Bitch" under his breath immediately before raising the gun and pointing it at the reporter. What a wacko, can't wait until the manifesto is view able.

Sorry that whatever misbegotten shithole you call home is giving you feelings of inadequacy on the international stage.

I'd fuck this statement if it had a z to tickle with.

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

ABC News said it received a 23-page fax from someone named Bryce Williams after the shooting. ABC said it has shared the fax with police, and posted some of its contents Wednesday afternoon. The fax came about two hours after the shooting.

In the fax, Flanagan wrote, “Why did I do it? I put down a deposit for a gun on 6/19/15. The Church shooting in Charleston happened on 6/17/15 … What sent me over the top was the church shooting. And my hollow point bullets have the victims’ initials on them.”

He also referenced Virginia Tech shooter Seuing Hui Choi, calling him “his boy,” and expressed admiration for the Columbine High School shooters.

Flanagan wrote that he suffered racial discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying at work, because he was a gay black man.

“Yes, it will sound like I am angry…I am. And I have every right to be. But when I leave this Earth, the only emotion I want to feel is peace,” he wrote. “The church shooting was the tipping point…but my anger has been building steadily…I’ve been a human powder keg for a while…just waiting to go BOOM!!!!”

The only thing I've found about the manifesto so far.

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

That was a glock 40, they hold 15 rounds if i remember correctly. 14 with 1 chambered. She took 3 shots with no exit wounds visible so im gonna assume he had low grain ammo or was using cheap hollow points. This is a prime example of bullets not being an instant kill. Ive watched both the news footage and the pov video and its stomach churning. Just horrible.
Yeah, he sent a 23-page FAX to ABC News two hours after the shooting. In it he said that he used hollow point bullets on which he wrote their initials. He was a former reporter for the same station and said he was constantly harassed for being gay and black, and that he was just ready to explode at any point. Apparently he accused the reporter of racist slurs and the cameraman of getting privileges that he felt he deserved.

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

The Lesson: Be very careful what you say around your black co-workers as anything you say can be interpreted as racism. Do not go to human resources about conduct regarding your black co-workers. Otherwise be prepared to get gunned down as a result of your actions.

This is how they handle conflicts among their own race, why would anyone be surprised when incidents like this happen. These incidents happen a lot more often than is reported because the media does not want to focus on black on black, or black on non-black crime and murder. This incident forces them to bring light to the issue. I limit my contact with black people as much as possible, it greatly reduces the chances that I am murdered or robbed.
You just wanted an excuse to bring up casual racism, this is a workplace killing...most of them in U.S. history have been Caucasian.

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

Nobody said it has no impact on crime. You're missing the point. Nobody ever jumps on the "ban machetes and screwdrivers and cars bandwagon" when someone is murdered with one of those weapons, it only happens when a firearm is used as a weapon that you hear this sort of "nonsense", to borrow one of your own words.

I'm not missing any point. Of course there will be other killings using various weapons and objects but the point is a screwdriver and a car as you mentioned have a specific purpose. Much like a gun does, the difference being a gun's purpose is for killing!

Take all the gun massacres you get for example and you're telling me the same kind of destruction would be caused by someone running in there with a screwdriver or knife? guns also give people a certain sense of power that other weapons simply don't. The right to bear arms is ridiculous plain and simple but it's that ingrained into American culture that you can't see past it. No one here in the UK feels the need to carry a gun or even have one in their home so why should you lot feel the need?

Re: Reporter, Cameraman Shot Dead on Live TV in Virginia

interesting opinion you have...firstly it is a divisive issue that is political. who said people are not blaming the perpetrator? I am certainly blaming him, since he is the primary actor in the incident...he deserved to die....much slower than what actually occurred. But the fact that he had easy access to weapons is a major problem, and its a huge national problem that's blatantly obvious. seems like you pick and choose what's beneficial by having weapons, but avoid the bigger issues. Guns kill lives...simple as that. I've see too many stories of 3 year olds killing themselves, or their parents or young teens killing parents, or murder-suicides, or people going on shooting rampages, or accidental deaths from firearms....not to mention the overwhelming abuse by the police who have itchy trigger fingers then try to claim self-defense. hey wait until one of your dumbass relatives gets killed and then see.

oh and as far as taking them...yea lets use our socialist U.S. military/reserves/national guard to come take them...or how about the socialist police agencies and have them go door to door and disarm anyone. There are plenty of agencies around that would make it happen...our government is big, so let's utilize it huh? Obama would sign the shit out of that. Lets take all the weapons, and our government will lock them up/destroy them.
If your president (not mine) were to order the government to begin confiscating legal firearms from innocent Americans, and they will resist, how long after the bloodbath begins will it be before the rest rise up in defense of their countrymen? THAT is the true purpose of the second amendment. To prevent tyranny in government.

Personal accountability is the problem here, not firearms. If individuals like yourself would blame the perpetrator instead of the weapon they used, we might be able to have a productive conversation. Seeing as how that is not possible, as you have already stooped to making wild assumptions about me as well as needlessly insulting my relatives, I fear my words may fall on deaf ears.
