Reeling in a Drowned Relative That Tried to Rescue Drowning Children
Venezuela. Two children were bathing at one of the resorts on the Atlantic side of the Caroní River when they suddenly began to drown and an adult man, who was one of their relatives, went to rescue them but the current ended up submerging all three of them. Later in the afternoon, they recovered the body of 37-year-old Jorge L. B., however, they have not yet found the whereabouts of the children, who were 8 and 9 years old. The search efforts are being carried out by the victims' families, local residents, and authorities |

Lifeguards are not born, they’re forged through years of training and discipline , and still, even they can die at any second in the ruthless waters. Life was born from the ocean but it can take life all the same. RIP.

Watched a Darwin award winner who was saved from drowning, by a young man, who sadly died, her words." .I never asked him to save me"...she nearly broke the internet  |

I would have a hard time not trying to help an 8 and 9 year old that weren't my family. If it was my family is be in there in a heartbeat.
