When I saw the original post I just assumed it was probably you. But it clearly isn't now.

That guy was actually someone watching the stream when it happened apparently, and created a reddit account to post it. Now he feels super bad. He shouldn't of course.

Those 911 operators are so fucking stupid. They ask the most stupidest questions ever! Just tell the lady that the police and ambulance are coming and to wait outside the house for them. After the mother tells the operator that her sons brains are everywhere, the operator should immediately know that it's over for the kid and stop asking more questions to make the mother continuously look at the messy body.

Those 911 operators are trained to ask those "stupid questions" because many times people see "a lot of blood" and just assume the person is dead; when in actuality there is a life that can still be saved.

Frantic callers are not easily understood over the phone, either. She clearly did not hear her very well and was just doing her job.

When seconds count and someone's life is on the line, it's not the operators' job to levy moral support and/or give up and just say "I'm sorry, he/she is gone".

It's their job to make sure that every step is taken, and get as much information as possible relayed to oncoming responders so that they can also do their job more efficiently.

Nah, not me. I just leech gore from DR. I wouldn't know where to begin looking for it and finding it before it shows up here.

And yeah, I kind of agree with the folks here saying that the 911 operator was kind of a dingbat. I could hear the kid's mom just fine in the video, so you'd think that the operator would've been able to understand her even better. Sounded like the operator was just "phoning it in" (no pun intended) and reciting a script from rote without actually paying attention to what she was hearing.

I get that he was most likely gonna do that anyways but, to his mother. But I guess who better to find him, she doesn’t have to find out third person. Fuck and his friends that had to watch. I just wonder if he could hear them would that had even stopped him for one more day min or even long enough for someone at his house to see the note he slipped under his door and come in and stop him. Ah well, wonder as I might, nothing will change it, and it’ll always be wondering.

You can't hear what they hear though. For the operator, it isn't a simple "one on one" conversation; they are dispatching information to other emergency services at the same time as well.
