Re: Rapper XXXTentacion Shot Dead
I cannot understand how there is any $$$ in rap music. The demographic who plays that crap has got to be pirating it all over the web. So if there are no purchases...??? The best I can figure is rap music $$$ is an elaborate drug money laundering scheme. I have no idea. |

Re: Rapper XXXTentacion Shot Dead
Answer: Hoodie culture = felon identity masking kit for our ever-videoed world, packaged as urban "social identity" clothing so the hoodies will be equally accepted in schools and street corners. The culture of hoodies and toughy attitude is being passed along to our most impressionable youngsters. I saw this movement 20 years ago in the NE where urban schools were giving out hoodies as a reward for attending school. I thought back then, "my school taxes are being used to buy felony support kits for the kids - nice." But the masking objective of hoods has become more obvious since, due to the explosion of video cameras. Ever since the Antifa riots then the Covid masks promoted the social acceptance of hiding identity among mainstream youth, I am seeing even more Florida kids wearing long sleeves with hoods over their heads walking outside in 90+ humid weather, along with their adult toughy role models. Surprisingly, the toughies rarely wear their Covid masks anymore, and I sense their culture has shifted to reject the wimpy looking masks, but be "hoods up" under the most ludicrous heat conditions. |

Well this comment has gotten a bit of air time. For me, mostly vocal house, but also post-bop jazz and modern jazz real not smooth and excluding free. Check out the link in this tread for some ridiculously good house right here on DR: https://www.documentingreality.com/f...2021-a-223187/ |

Re: Rapper XXXTentacion Shot Dead
He was a pretty popular rapper at the time, I liked to think of him as this generation's 2Pac, just from his popularity and influence on today's youth. You either liked him or you didn't like him. I personally only liked like 1 or 2 of his songs, but from what I remember, he was a pretty violent dude, even beat up his GF a few times, but was turning his life around for the better.

Re: Rapper XXXTentacion Shot Dead
I remember when this happened I was sad because he had just bought his mother and father a brand new house. He even bought his aunts and uncles houses as well. He was actually a good kid rough around the edges but still a good kid |
