I thought some depraved bastard had murdered Nipsey Russell. As it turns out, he's been dead for well over a decade, murdered by time and biology. I guess that means the episode of Match Game '76 I was watching yesterday was a rerun, and it is, in fact, not 1976. I suppose that explains why my repeated cables to my great uncle is Yugoslavia have met with no response.
