Re: Rapist Taking His Own Medicine
Hey dude. You are one of the few on here that seem reasonable. While I understand your own personal desire for vengeance against sick fucks that rape, you know this isn't right. This is why we can't execute people. You can NOT murder someone without becoming the crime you commit. Just think for a sec. Would you be ok with your children...or any children, watching you carry out 'vengeance' against a rapist? You lose a piece of yourself when you turn to barbaric behaviors. It wouldn't be long before everyone on the block is carrying out vigilante justice against people that offending them. Science is the answer...like always. If we can learn what causes people to rape, we can learn to prevent it before it happens. Educating people is a huge part of it. There are some folks that think they can cure HIV by raping a virgin. All that shit can be prevented with EDUCATION. Ya feel me? |

Re: Rapist Taking His Own Medicine
Strange how far modern medicine has come, considering how in Merry Olde England it was thought that sleeping with a virgin, the younger the better, really WAS considered an effective treatment for syphilis. And yet, in several parts of Africa where modern medicine is looked on with scorn, AIDS does not exist...it's all witchcraft, or the victim must have done something horrible for such a "spell" to be cast on them.

Re: Rapist Taking His Own Medicine
I say good. So many innocent people die brutal deaths every day, go through torture, rape, death by fire!, etc...I honestly can't say I feel bad but HOPE this guy was guilty of the crimes he was accused of. |

Re: Rapist Taking His Own Medicine
Thank you and I completely understand where you are coming from.. Look at this from outside the box: It mays seem barbaric in the way the video was portrayed, but I think the fellow prisoners were giving the student of rape an education on rape from the victims perspective. Perpetrators need to see, feel, and live what its like from the victims perspective. By the way the rapist was reacting to the treatment, he fully understands how it feels to be violated against his will. Quite honestly, I would have to say that this form of tough love, or this method of EDUCATING the perpetrator will offer a deterrent in the future thoughts of raping/molesting others. After he is finished with his rape course, he will have the mental tools from his EDUCATION to not continue such behaviors in the future. Ya feel me?? |

Re: Rapist Taking His Own Medicine
Well, that was pretty delusional. The fact that science might "fix everything" in some nebulous point in the future doesn't mean we should abandon everything else in the meantime. The only piece of you that you "lose" when you commit a barbaric act is the prissy delusional part of you that lives in a sheltered world of information overload and thinks they're better than that. Brutalizing/killing people who do horrible things is a pretty natural, human instinct. Sorry. |
