Punishments should ALWAYS fit the crime in today's justice system... Rapists should be raped to death, drug pushers and drug addicts should be killed by mandatory state induced overdosing, and murderers should be killed in the same manner in which they killed their victims. This way tax payers aren't paying for these lifers that suck our resources dry. Hell, they get better treatment than public school kids.

And that's why you haven't studied anything about what your emotional diatribe mentions and so will never be in a position of power to have such a system. At least that's what I hope. Luckily there are those that study these subjects, become experts in their fields and go on to work in the systems you'd like to get your hands on, and I'm somewhat happy to report that a move towards more rehabilitation and less punishment is the norm in most developed nations, with a falling crime rate to boot. Who'd have thunk it?  |
