All well and good except for one thing...
If you want to live in a country who respect the rule of law then laws contrary to the constitution can not exist. As such if we are to keep such laws which unconstitutionally require you to register not live or not work etc. in certain places AFTER you have served your sentence then we might just as well do away the Constitution altogether. Or perhaps you feel it should be only you who get to decide who has to be punished further even after the debt to society as procribed by the contitutionally sound laws has been paid. I.E. the laws you just mentioned are unconstitutional because they require punishment for the crime to be inflicted twice. So if we allow these things to continue where do we stop? Perhaps if you have ever stolen something you should not be allowed in any stores for the rest of your life after you complete your sentence. Maybe you killed someone in a terrible accident perhaps you should have to be that families slave for the rest of your natural life even if it was an accident. Perhaps children who steal should be marked for life so other parents know your child is a thief? see how ridiculous this all can get? The solution isn't new feel good yet unconstitutional laws the solution is tougher sentencing. I mean really when was the last time a criminal obeyed any law be it constitutional or otherwise? These ridiculous laws we have are fed to us by an ever increasing police state government burocracy designed to make us all criminals and they have us begging them to do so. Case in point Megans law alone has created more "sex offenders" out of average upright citizens then it will ever stop. We are talking about people who stopped on the side of a highway at night to urinate in the woods and got arrested under Megans law and had their lives ruined. And no it didn't matter that no one saw them other than an officer. And by the way most of those cases no officer even testified that anyones wanker was ever visible. Way to go . Keep those assinine useless laws coming. If the people want to be informed as to who is in the neighborhood go talk to your neighbor and do a background search on them if you like. Anyone convicted of rape and the like is already in the public records database. Gather it up and start your own website if you like but don't ever ask the government to start databases on citizens of one slant or the other because it never stops there.

P.S. just so you don't blow a fuse my very close aunt was raped when we were young and neither she nor i support any big brother bills.You want to live in a free society you can't expect to be safe from the boogey man. you want the freedom to confront your attacker then stop supporting bills that take that from you and give it to some other agency because you know you can't handle doing it yourself. These bills don't make you safer they just make you feel better while setting precedent for the PTB to come after what someone might not like about you someday. Oh and by the way the Brady Bill deals with handgun issues and is also unconstitutional as well as removing the right to protect yourself from people who DONT FOLLOW THE LAW.
