Pain can actually infact kill you, it has been known to even cause unexpected sudden death in chronic pain patients. People with underlying heart or stroke issues are particularly vulnerable, regardless if they are a chronic pain patient or not, to sudden death brought on by massive amounts of pain. I’ve had several doctors have conversations with me going over how important it is to not allow myself to hit the point of pain at even a 9 scale, let alone a 10, without going in to a hospital because of this. |

Treatment for 10/10 pain MUST be using a smartphone then cuz i swear that’s what everyone with 10/10 pain is doing when they are called back from the ED waiting room  |

Axial load to the spine and brain stem and it was plenty enough force for a severe concussion at the least
