This isnt an execution, in my opinion she had headache and this is a tribal method to cure it.  This girl wrote 2 books and even won Nobel literature after that operation. |

In the very beginning they have her holding some thing on top of her head. This is probably to cut back on any visible head trauma.

She got a fractured skull for sure. The top of your head where your soft spot is is never fully together. It can be cracked easily. Poor girl...if she is not dead she will be severely brain damaged.
