The convulsions are probably in line with having the membrane surrounding the brain torn/punctured by the blow/her own skull... it's almost certainly a mortal blow, really... I mean... seems to me they only rubbed her sternum to make sure they'd gotten the job done.

With all the speculation on here regarding her fate (dead, brain damaged but alive, etc.) has anybody been able to find a reliable source that actually states whether she lived or died?
